The Investment And Wealth Management Awards are conducted every year by The Financial Times to recognize the best of the best in the financial services industry. The awards are sought after by managers, brokers, and online platform operators. Let’s take a look at where the awards went this year.

Best Forex

The award for Best Forex Operator was contested by ETX Capital, Oanda, and FXPro. However, the award was won by FXPro for the fifth consecutive year. With growing competition and an ever-changing marketplace, innovation will remain crucial. Forex services now include large single foreign transactions, not just those who want to trade and speculate on the retail market.

The nominees for the Best Trading App award were City Index and CMC. However, this award was retained by IG Group, based in London, who also delivers Nadex to the US market.

Best Spread Betting Provider

IG won the Best Spread Betting Provider award for their advanced trading platform. The judges noted that shortlisted firms ETX Capital, City Index, and SpreadEx all provide cutting-edge trading tools too, in another category that is becoming highly competitive.

The award for Best CFD Provider went to CMC Markets, beating City Index and ETX Capital from the shortlist. The judges noted the customisable platform and tight spreads as two reasons for their choice of best provider.

DayTrading.com Awards

Some of this year’s awards or judges’ reasoning highlighted the changing landscape of retail trading.
